I read a while back that in DC, each public school student costs around $40,000 per year to the taxpayers, I could be wrong and it was several years ago, but that is outright insane! Especially with the actual lack of education they are getting.
That’s almost double the most expensive private schools in NOLA, the Newmans and McGehee pre-Ivy league schools.

How much money is spent on things bot in the classroom? I.e., besides books amd teacher salary.
True. But we've pretty much established throwing money doesnt fix the issue.

I'm too lazy to look up how much is spent on education per child by Singapore as opposed to the USA, but I'm fairly certain it would make me vomit.
Also, I bet in Singapore they don't teach kids about pronouns, unlimited genders, CRT and alphabet-people propaganda.
I literally hate what America is rapidly becoming. We need a reckoning and a biblical pendulum shift.

Recurrent reminder that Asian culture is superior. Jus hope the Korean win out over the chicoms as our new overlords.

Honestly, these high performing students are the people we need to migrate here. This is good immigration.

Programme for International Student Assessment for 15 year olds is done globally every year for the three aforementioned categories, and Singapore was #1 in all three.
US ranking: Reading 8th, Math 34th actually below the world wide average, Science 16th.
Truly disgusting given the amount of money wasted on public education.
If the Asian, Jewish and European students in the US were removed from the calculation the US would be at the bottom of developed nations.

We probably should send some of our best there
