To be honest, I think this is completely justified given he was a civil rights hero. He should be mourned.

Respect what he did for the civil rights movement. Unfortunately he didn’t change when the world changed around him so he kept race baiting until he died.

He did the right thing early in his life, he did the wrong thing late in life, corrupted by power. He was a race baiting populist that damaged the lives of his constituents for power and money. But yeah, lets glorify him.
