Anheuser-Busch to sell iconic New Jersey brewery, close California and New Hampshire facilities
Are they just selling it as an optimization strategy or did they never recover from the tranny destruction?

Anheuser-Busch is selling its decades-old New Jersey brewery and is closing two others in California and New Hampshire as part of a broader strategy to optimize production.
The Anheuser-Busch brewery in Newark, New Jersey, which opened in 1951 and is one of the company’s longest-running facilities, will be sold to the Goodman Group in 2026. Its Fairfield, California, and Merrimack, New Hampshire, facilities will close in early 2026.
The company plans to shift production from these three facilities to its other U.S. facilities, enabling the company "to invest even more in our remaining operations and in our portfolio of growing, industry-leading brands," the spokesperson said.

I'd be interested in seeing stats on alcohol consumption trends over time and by age group. I feel like young adults aren't boozing as much as they used to. Could be wrong.

I wish they’d bring back original Michelob. I’ve moved past the craft beer fad. I’d really like a fuller bodied “factory beer”.

I've read the same... so AB/Inbev pissing off their existing customers was doubly stupid.

Post Covid has been real bad for beer. I hardly ever drink beer anymore

Oh wow!!! Closing a brewery in California?!?
I thought California was the Mecca of wokism. Why can’t they sell tranny-lite out there?
Maybe another proof point that California elections are rigged and stolen?

Demographics probably. Younger folks opt for weed over booze.

It's all fricking IPAs.
Easy to brew, and it's what hipsters like.
Gimme some variety of styles.

Business is leaving blue states because blue states will kill your business.

Thought this was well known by now (decrease in consumption). It's been reported for a couple of years now. Doubt it has anything to do with a man wearing horrendous amounts of makeup.

The tranny stuff killed them but a lot of people don’t drink like they used to. The whole industry has been hurting for awhile.

Craft beer collapsed under its own weight. The originals that were in it for the right reason got ran out of business when the market was flooded by people trying to make make money running restaurants and calling them breweries.

You are correct. I'm in the prime label industry and our craft beer business has dropped with many small brewers going under.
Our seltzer and THC infused business is going gang busters.

Agree. And the so-called IPAs aren’t nearly as bitter as they used to be, because those little fa ggots with their beards and their smart glasses would puke.
