We've seen polls (fake or not, who knows with polls), some "protesters" and some who support Kavanaugh's position. In your own situation/social circle, where do your friends and family come down on the issue on social media or otherwise. Are they #believewomen or due process/rule of law people

I live in downtown Savannah right next to SCAD. People I work with, random Fabo friends, etc, are pretty big libs. They are sure a rapist has been voted in. Absolutely positive. People I care about and my immediate friends/family are red pilled

Sickened at what was done to Kav. Except my brother, probably. I meant to call him yesterday for the melt, but got busy. I’ll do it today.

My friends and family are mostly all right leaning, so unsuprisingly they are glad the confirmation went through.

More noteworthy, I teach on a liberal arts campus (a relatively conservative one, but still), and a number of my students were talking about this last week. I was pleasantly suprised at their majority consensus: if Kav did what he is accused of then he shouldn’t be on the supreme court, but absent evidence it would be a disgrace not confirm him. There were a number of kids who I strongly suspect are liberals who were upset with the dems for delaying this to the last minute and exploiting a potential sexual abuse survivor for the sake of politics. The conversations actually gave me quite a bit of hope that these younger generations still have some down to earth rational thinkers capable of putting reason over political identity. Very encouraging.

Most are on Kavanaughs side, except my brother in law and sister in law. Of course both are in their thirties and do not have a job. They are both screaming at other family members, calling them supporters of a rapist. My extremely based wife just laughs at them.

Most of my family sees it for what it is. The wife believes every outrageous allegation, because "why would they lie."

Yeah, my lib family was upset at dinner saying a rapist got on the court. I just steer clear of politics with most people in public and text memes to my friends who are woke.

Exactly. It’s not worth getting into it with people who believe the things they do. I just walk away and log onto the PT board

I haven't duscussed it with anyone except my wife and my obviously pro-Kav friends. I'm probably the most liberal (and I'm not, by today's standards) member of my entire extended family on both sides (not exaggerating), so I know how they feel. My wife would probably fancy herself a liberal in some way, but if you press her on most issues, she thinks today's leftists are insane idiots.

Anyway, wife thought it was a railroading, and none of my many liberal friends came within a mile of discussing it with me. They know better.

My wife, who was legit assaulted in college, thinks Ford is FOS. My mom, small business owner, thinks the allegations are bunk and that Dems are evil.

I have two lost relatives who have the mental disorder. One of them posted some bs on fakebook to the tune of "if a murderer lists off all the people they didnt murder, it doesnt mean they havent murdered before" or some bullshite like that.

I laughed and kept going. They have nothing other than words. Sticks and stones may break my bones but their words will never hurt me.

They were horrified at the way he was treated, and saw the charade for what it was.

Proof positive they just care about the narrative and not the truth.

The liberal minded do not change their collective minds and goes for my friends and family also.

My family is MAGA. My close college friends are MAGA. Some of my older high school friends we don’t discuss politics after what happened on election night. But my wife’s sister is full on #MeToo

Same here, everyone said the stories didn't add up, men and women alike.

My wife, an attorney, immediately thought the timing of the allegations was reason to be suspicious but formal decided Ford was lying when the “witnesses” couldn’t corroborate anything she was claiming. My wife is also now red pilled because of this event and is questioning everything she never questioned before.

As a result of this obviously coordinated wrap-up smear, I wonder how many people start wondering “who is behind all of this, who is pulling the strings of Ford, Feinstein, Avenatti, etc?”

The SO isn't a fan of him but I expected that since she's fairly liberal. Thinks the reason Ford came out now is because she knew he wasn't fit to serve and wanted to stop him.

Can't reason with her on it. Politics is literally the only thing she's illogical on.

For the most part, mine (family and inlaws) are spitting nails about this.

My MIL is the only one that wasn't infuriated, but that's because she was fairly clueless about what was going on. Once I explained it using her favorite son as the person whose life was being ruined by uncorroborated allegations, it started to hit home.
