So this guy is acquitted in a FL court of corruption charges. The Feds then drop his case because of this.
You'll remember he was caught with a male prostitute, a crap load of methamphetamines', a load of crap in the hotel bed, and the articles states he faced no charges for any of that.

He could still win in Tally, but he's done statewide

because they routinely let the feds charge them rather than the state

but the feds wont charge him because thats "D"ifferent

if the feds wont charge him the state should immediately reinstate all those charges related to everything but the corruption.

we can only wait and see if the florida DA has the balls to do his job here

Gillum is being set-up to be the next gov of Florida because Ron is committing political suicide.

I love how so many people in the US, no matter how ignorant they are of Florida politics, are now experts on Florida politics.

I love how a lot fewer people in the US seem to assume that success in AA automatically means success in MLB, where Florida is to AA as the nation is to MLB.

Because Trump endorsed DeSantis. Without that endorsement, DeSantis would have lost.

Trump's endorsement meant nothing in RDS vs Gillum

And that was before his destroyed anus pictures made the rounds. He's not winning a statewide office. They can run probably run him in a black district and win something that way, I guess. He's not going to be governor and I'd be shocked if the party apparatus even let him run.

Wrong, try again.

"Florida governors are restricted to two consecutive terms in office, after which they must wait one term before being eligible to run again."

political suicide

I'll refer you back to my earlier statement. By late 2018 Trump was a drag on DeSantis if he had an impact at all. He helped him in the primary, not the general.
