How the frick are you ok with that?

I am ok with it because it is a 'fog of war' situation. And that FOG is all the result of one person.

Look - we all know there are 'friendly fire' casualties in war time. Nobody gets busted for that unless there is manifest incompetence involved. It is one of the things that make war so f'n evil.

there are far more policemen injured or killed by them trying to be 'too nice' to some sack of shite who is trying to prolong the confrontation - either to actually get away, or (more and more likely) these days to provoke the cop into doing something that causes a 'stir' with the hopes of higher getting off, getting a lighter sentence, getting a big lawsuit settlement, or leaving another George Floyd 'sainthood' legacy.

I do not care one shite about what happens when a person deliberately tries to evade or provoke a policeman.

And I am doubly harsh on POLICEMEN when THEY deliberately and wantonly misuse THEIR authority.

do unto others . . . . . . = good advice to live by.

Awesome. Let’s give the government the authority to kill or hurt people who are not currently posing a threat.

There is the natural result of doing dumb stuff. That happened here.

That doesn’t mean the police followed procedure or treated the suspect with the appropriate response to him surrendering.

What do you think the civil suit will cost the citizens of Circleville?

I don't know how you watch that video and think that local officer should be allowed the authority that comes with a badge.

Something else that's always fun is how the media is already making the excuse of oh well we don't know if he could hear the other officers telling him not to do what he did. If this was a suspect he'd of been expected to be aware of what was going on and follow the commands. This police officer should be capable of that too.

I think it’s a massive threat to frantically evade police in an 18 wheeler. We can’t have that.

I’m not sure if you read my posts.

Sure. So at any point after that incident, the police can shoot him?

20 mins?

How about a day later?

What part of "he did not comply after a police chase" do you not understand? If he had gotten out of the cab and did exactly what they asked him to do the dog would not have been sent in. It ain't real hard to understand.
um, he got out of the cab and had his hands up listening to the state police when the local cop ran across the median, then sicked his dog on him. All this while state police were trying to tell him to control his dog.

He was fearful of the local cops who tried to pull him over for a missing mud flap. The same local cop who sicked his dog on him in front of the state police.

If there was any threat from the driver, the video proved otherwise. The dog initially runs at the other cops and the k9 officer runs in between the driver and state police to command the dog to turn and attack the driver. He showed zero fear of the driver. And the dog is a guaranteed assault.

A very similar situation happened to my brother. All on police cam, he was passed out under a tree after busting his ole lady’s face and he didn’t comply because he was passed out, so they let the dog loose. He ended up with 20 staples and $150K check, yet it didn’t make the news. I wonder why.
