I think those who put this massive amount of faith in IQ tests to accurately uncover this unique "genetic" attribute of cognitive capacity/potential are misguided.

I agree. The human body is designed to maximize it's biology to fit it's environment. Stimulating environment = stimulated brain = higher IQ.

We can't fix poverty. We can give those living in poverty opportunities to get out, but we can't make them. I see it everyday. Even with Medicaid, WIC, food stamps, and and welfare people still go hungry and live in squalor. Why? The choose to. They sell their benefits and spend their money on stupid shite. Not even drugs or alcohol. I see cars, rims, designer clothes, jewelry, Iphones etc. Quit fricking bitching about being poor while texting on your new IPhone, and wearing some Jordan's or wtf ever shoes/clothes. And this is NOT the exception. It's the rule.

Most people are poor because of bad behaviors, bad decisions or laziness. Why's this so hard to understand? Hell, I just had a guy begging for money and free care a few weeks ago. I offered him $500 to stain my fence (that didn't really need it) and I supplied the stain and equipment. Last time I did it I took about 12-14 hours total. He said no and that he COULDN'T do it for less than $1k!!! Are you shitting me? I thought poor people only wanted an opportunity to work and have a good life. bullshite!!! And guess what? He's not the only one. I've made this same offer many times when money is requested. MF'ers think they deserve $100/hour and shouldn't sweat. Liberals need to understand some people cannot be helped.

What do you think about this? Once abolishing slavery, do you think we should have forced an education on blacks? K-12, and 2 years of college maybe?

I hate worthless assholes of all colors.
I will say this since race is mentioned. Black poors have much better hygiene than white poors. I am making a joke by calling them "poors". I don't actual refer to people by this term in real life.

Sure - many poverty stricken people tried to steal for survival. They were dealt with pretty harshly.
What I find ludicrous is that we have massive unemployment amongst the poor - yet we claim we need massive immigration to do the work that 'americans just won't do.'
I say in this case that hunger IS a great motivator. If we close the border and stop welfare, then the strawberries still need picking, and we will find out if some of our own poor would rather work or starve.
If there is a job to be done and some poor person won't do it because he doesn't want to, then screw him. Let him die in the streets.

Perhaps. We certainly didn't do them any favors by "freeing" them into a hostile environment. It was a political move plain and simple, but without the forethought of what to do once they were freed. Many refused to leave the plantations they were on and often times these were the ones whose families did better later as they were educated by their former owners. And the welfare system hasn't helped. As mentioned previously, it only subsidizes bad behavior. It has to work against someone if they have kids they can't afford. If they'll get less, they won't do it. You think the kids are getting that shite anyway? Hell no!!

Exactly!!! The dems keep spouting this "fair share" bullshite. What fair share are the poorest paying? They don't pay taxes. They don't fricking work. They sport frick to produce even more human parasites. Instead of working for what the want, they steal it. So if everyone has to pay their fair share, when are these assholes gonna pitch in? With the taxes I pay, I should have an army of these bastards.
