You have a skewed perception of dominant. She has been forgotten, and will be again until she tweets another defensive diatribe.

Do you have her poster over your bed?

Quitty McQuitterson should be a little more circumspect. Quitting, then getting defensive about quitting and then having to remind folks you're the greatest gymnast ... OF ... ALL ... TIME ... is unbecoming and definitely not endearing.

Exactly. She legit earned those Medals...but she earned the quitter ding in her character as well. This won't go away; no matter how much she tries to pull a 'Biden' and alter the true narrative.

15 seconds? She's been dominant for years, and deservedly so. She will likely be a major celebrity for the rest of your pathetic life. Deal with it.

This is just silly. Regardless of what you think of her today gymnastics just isn't that kind of sport. She will be yesterday's news in Fairly short order. That's not a knock on her. That's just reality. 4 years from now more young people will be able to name the most popular YouTubers and onlyfans girls than will be able to name her.

Who?? No one cares about gymnasts

Her 15 mins of fame are up - sad she gave up her childhood and innocence for a medal that will rust and fade away

That was my point. Olympic athletes go from hero to has been very quick. There are a couple of sports that are exceptions but gymnastics isn't one of them. 4 years from now she will be barely known. 8 years from now people will Google "black Olympic gymnast" just to refresh themselves on her name. 12 years from now she might as well be me

Not a good look. This is what happens when "everyone is a winner" goes too far.

I think it will define her. People will remember her more for quitting during the Olympics, than they will for her athletic accomplishments. Nobody remembers/cares what a fine coach Woody Hayes was. People don’t think of football when they hear OJ Simpson’s name. Pete Rose? Bruce Jenner?

So dominant that 85% of the US population hadn't heard of her before she epically failed by quitting. That's what she'll be remembered for regardless of you liberal hero makers efforts to keep her relevant

Self promoting, narcissistic, disconnected from reality, and dishonest.

So...she quit.

If you remove yourself from competition...it's quitting.

I'm not sure why you are making the argument.

An Olympian who hates her country, bragging about medals she won while riding on the coattails of her country.

What are the odds we'd have had two presidents in a row like that?

You're right, Obama was elected two times.
