Heather Higgins has done her homework and put together a very smart prediction of how the Dems will thread the needle and eject Biden from the ticket and substitute their ideal replacement candidate, Michelle Obama.  I’ve been a skeptic that she could be persuaded, given her obvious distaste for politics, but Heather provides the most persuasive argument I’ve seen for how this could be accomplished. And with her close study of the Democrats’ party bylaws and electoral law, she zeroes in on the necessary timing and means of pulling off the big switcheroo.

Given the magnitude of the disaster that a successful Michelle Obama would represent, and the likelihood of something similar to the Higgins divination actually happening, I must warn you: read it and weep. You can read the original prophecy here. But to save time, I will briefly summarize below.

You assume this board would be allowed to exist if Big Mike was president...

It is somewhat easy to corral a senile old man into staying out of sight. Just give him his pudding cup and let him sniff a few kids.

Putting him out in public is the hard part there.

Big Mike? Not going to like having to campaign nor the inability to really enjoy the lifestyle that Barry Buttfrick’s office provided for her.

The trick is to make the switch with as little time as possible between the move and the general election. It's happened in New Jersey and Missouri Senate elections within 60 days before the vote.

Nah, she will generate so much excitement it will be easier for them to cheat...

The Turnip leaves them very little room to cheat...

There was a dead body in the case of Missouri and Minnesota, meaning they could name who the replacement would be if they won. But they would still have to win a special election for the remainder of the term. (Mondale lost the election, Carnahan won in 2000 but lost the special election in 2002).

New Jersey was a fast one which got approved by a complicity judiciary.

All true, but the larger point is that it's not as rare and occurrence as one might think.
