Treble

Start thread. Give examples of controlling cost of

Hospital stay
Epi pen
Glaucoma meds travatan that run $475 over the counter. I pay $80 now for 3 month supply which is two bottles, which would be $950 to the public.
Go.

Yee haa!

Germandog addresses real issue.
Aca reduced overall cost by cutting down on visits to er as if er is office visit.
If you take aca from 15 million people the halls of hospitals will be lined with poors.

We need more mds. Come on, trump, be the leader.
He looks like he is being led by the nose by the swamp now. That was fast. One month.

I read most of the bill last night. It's not really a health care bill, it's a massive tax cut bill for the wealthy.

You people keep saying this like it's an absolute positive. It isn't.

And here is the problem.

No where do any of you tards ever address the actual cause of high health care costs. Why? Because the truth fricking hurts and you guys are scared of it.

So scared that you just want to throw more money at the problem without ever fixing the problem. Stupid is as stupid does.

The truth hurts people's feelings and we can't have people with hurt feelings. It's mean. No wonder entitlements are choking us.

You are stating that the majority of people who have been covered under the ACA but were not covered by expansion of medicare are not paying anything for their coverage?

No. It's a purposeless bill that would harm millions and help millionaires, and it's only being considered because of a cynical attempt to keep an empty campaign promise.

No. Imagine taking a rundown house, breaking out two of the walls and then claiming victory because you got rid of the ugly paint.

No. It's presented as such, but it's a compromise that shouldn't and doesn't need to be made. It's Republicans caving to emotional bullshite.

While I have issues with this plan (pre-existing conditions is a biggie for me), Trump has to take what he can get at this stage. Hopefully, the GOP can make big gains on 2018 and then bigger changes can be made.

How do you legislate personal responsibility though? That's the problem.
You can't legislate it. You simply have to make people face the consequences of their choices. You CAN NEVER accomplish that by giving away healthcare.

What more fricking gains can we get? Control of WH, both houses of Congress, and the SCOTUS. Despite all that this is what they come up with?

I've never written my Senator but I will be telling him that this is a cop out.
