Answer the question, asshat.
If this is as egregious as you say, why do even dem senators like Schumer support action against China?
Trump has this great idea to strangle his voter support in the Mid-West, and you're wondering why Schumer appears to have found a chair for him to stand on?
My poor boy......

Liberal govenrment complaining last week about droughts...
and climate change BS
we've had rain all year in NC...just had a flash flood last night...2 years ago, droughts...this is what weather does, it changes...year to year
weather changes people, we're spinning and rotating around the sun at a nice clip, on a 22.4% degree angle

Exactly what I would expect from the farmer class - they are not stupid.
To keep kneeling down to China is like putting band-aids on a cancer eruption - just hides the growing danger until it kills you.
A remedial measure is going to cause some temporary pain - and providing funds to help mitigate that pain is about all you can ask - otherwise you are just on a downward spiral to eventual death.

If Trump doesn't blink and admit that his tariff strategy was impulsive and dumb, China is not going to back off. Unlike the Russians, Trump is not their boy. I don't think they really care if Trump gets reelected because he is a leader that can't be trusted and he's damaging their markets as well as ours.
China isn't going to let up, and Trump will only reverse course if he can do it in a way that doesn't look like he capitulated.
That spells more pain for farmers. Trump loses Iowa.

Maybe this is an issue?

You can't get better unbiased reporting than Yahoo.
Amirite?

What were the China tariffs on American soybeans, wheat, etc before Trump started meddling with them?
Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't enough to prevent American farmers from opening up that very important market and doing very well for themselves. Maybe there wasn't any Chinese tariff on those items?
Farmers were not affected by China trade policies...
that is until an imbecile got elected POTUS.

It always strikes me how snarky the left gets about tax cuts, credits, and bailouts for industry while screaming for more welfare for the permanent dependency class.
We can't even pay trillions in entitlements without borrowing (from China, ironically), while agriculture employs over 20 million people. It seems like the snark is misguided.

Yes, it will be temporary when we elect a POTUS that will get in there and reverse the damage that Trump has done to the markets.
So why the sky screaming if this’ll be fixed in a year?

Seriously,
you really believe that?
It's been stated ad nauseum by Mueller in the hearings and anyone else you wish to pick from the thousands of patriots working in our intelligence services that Russia meddled with our election with the intent purpose of helping Trump win.
Russia wanted and helped Trump win the election. That is fact.
Mueller didn't think he could prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia in that effort, even though his report contains multiple instances where Trump campaign staff interacted with Russians (126 confirmed times)
Still doesn't change the fact that Russia interfered to help Trump win and Hillary lose.

Why is that “farmer/politician” complaining about not being able to sell something that he apparently can’t even grow? Are droughts racist now?
Oh, and we’ve sold frickin rice to fricken China for goodness sake! Explain that one!!!

Pygmalion is special. He believes the Mueller report, contrary to Robert Mueller himself, outlines over 100 instances of felony criminal conspiracy and treason. He also believes, again contrary to Muellers own words, that these crimes were ignored due to OLC guidance on indicting a POTUS.

A leftist coming to the defense of farmers.
I swear, Trump has turned you guys literally on your heads. You guys don’t know from one minute to the next whether to scratch your watches or wind your asses.

Crop prices have more to do with the commodity crash at the beginning of the decade and pink tide countries tying themselves to China during that time.

farmer John Weinand surveys a wheat field near Beulah, N.D., that should be twice as tall as it is. Drought in western North Dakota this summer is laying waste to crops _ some of which won't even be worth harvesting.
So, Trump placing tariffs on China and compensating farmers with another 16 billion caused a drought.
