Again, this isn't an attack on Christianity. It's an acknowledgment that bad actors can use Christianity to impose authoritarianism on people.

True, and we have those people today. It’s disturbing to hear the rhetoric they use.

We've always had those people.

What we HAVEN'T had is such naked hatred towards ALL CHRISTIANS in a co-ordinated attack by the Left and the Media.

The Left are no longer hiding their anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-White feelings, they are CELEBRATING them.

I will laugh when she divorces her "wife" in a few years, however, I will be saddened at how they have probably fricked up 3 children beyond belief

Interesting article.
Not really, no. It's agitprop designed to inflame bigotry. It's the kind of thing the Nazis wrote about the Jews.

Thoughts?
Write the same article about Islamic theocrats and see how leftists attack you for being racist.

Two tenants of Christianity are redemption and free will.

These run counter to every single solitary value of the humorless, woke, totalitarianism that has seized control of business, government and culture.

I’m so sick of this stupid, ignorant gaslighting that comes from the notion that having ethics or values means someone is a totalitarian.

This is a hack piece*. There is literal authoritarianism directly in your face with the left (and the elected officials on the right). Almost all of our government apparatus has been made this way.

You see it reflected in unequal applications of our laws towards elected people, or people in high positions of influence or power. You see it in legislation. You see it in how the IRS was used as an attack dog on conservatives. You see it with vaccine mandates. There is such a preponderance of evidence of it in our government.

It is nothing short of blame shifting asinine smacktardation to point this finger at Christianity. I am not religious at all but am formerly Christian, and it seems clear that this was written by someone who doesn't have the feintest understanding of what it means to be a Christian.

Ironic isn't it? The person writing a hate piece, claiming others are in the hate business.

Yep, and the rhetoric they use is similar to the rhetoric nazis used. How far are we from all Christians having to wear a patch identifying them as being Christian?

The Left have rejected God and engaged in the worship of self.

In essence, they are their own God which means they can justify ANY sin they choose.

Obtuse dipshit

Eta: if you’re claiming that J-C wasn’t a formative influence on western civ, then apart from being substantively wrong (see, e.g., Augustine), your “argument” is circular. Eta2: was typing on my iPhone that tries to correct everything I say. Fixed I think.

You can argue tautologies with yourself. I’m out.

Totally! Also many of them speak as if they are experts on what the Bible says and in particular experts about Jesus. Sorry lefties…unless you have a genuine relationship with Jesus, you are no expert on Jesus.

Articles like these don't occur in a vacuum.

It's simply one of a million supposedly thoughtful pieces of poorly disguised hack journalism hit pieces on Christianity.

Just to get a baseline reading, and this goes to anyone else that care to respond.. would you consider supporting gay marriage or being pro choice as attack on Christians?
