Amendments on North Carolina ballots

The democrats are livid about the PHOTO ID to vote law.
North Carolina's current income tax rate for individuals 5.499%, and the current income tax rate for corporations is 3%. Is this amendment to protect us from any higher of a tax rate than 7% if the dems take over legislature? The democrats are saying to vote NO on all above amendments so I will be voting yes on most amendments.
Where is the NC poster I spoke with in here a few weeks ago? Please post and let's discuss these amendments...

Why?
It's 2018 Im in my late 30's and just don't understand how there are people who don't have any for of photo identification whatsoever.

You recognized and saw through my typo, sorry I meant to type PHOTO ID to vote law. I fixed the OP. My apologies.

Exactly. But this isn't the point for them. It's harder to commit voter fraud with an ID requirement

I'm gonna have to research what the "victim's of felony crimes" is. Why would you need extra rights if you're a victim of a crime?
Sounds like wordplay and they're trying to give more rights to felons.

I am sure the common sense amendment to require an ID to vote will pass. Charlotte and the Raleigh leftists will probably try to get illegals to vote many times. I think we should revert to paper ballots like I voted on in New Hanover County. Less fraud.

Jesus you people are insane. If it gets said one time and you want to believe it, you're just going to believe that it happens all the time. There's literally zero evidence that this is some sort of widespread thing or that it even happens at all but it won't stop you and about 30 or 40 million of your friends from constantly parroting it.

It's on the ballot here also. When 64% of the state voted for Trump two years ago, I see no problem with it passing here.

here is exactly how it will appear on your ballot. some of them are worded strange.
LINK
I only found a NC democrats write up on the amendments. Here is how it was explained.
It is confusing what it really means.

Victims' Rights Amendment
What you'll see on the ballot:
Constitutional amendment to strengthen protections for victims of crime; to establish certain absolute basic rights for victims; and to ensure the enforcement of these rights.
What it means:
The amendment would expand rights guaranteed to victims of certain crimes under the state constitution. The new rights focus on increasing victims' access to information related to the crime, including the right to confer with the prosecutor. It would also expand existing victims' rights to a wider range of felony cases, including those involving crimes committed by juveniles.
The amendment directs the state legislature to create a framework for victims to assert these rights. However, the amendment would not allow victims to sue the State of North Carolina for failure to provide these rights.
It is confusing what it really means.

Foxnews
So potentially a few of the illegals make it to vote here or there but we don't have an entire country rooting for us.

I'm much older and can't remember anytime since I was 16 and got my DL that I didn't have any ID on me.
It's an odd argument that minorities are too dumb to do what most everyone else does without even thinking it was a problem.

I really like the NC Superintendent of Department of Public Instruction. That young man had 3 stated goals when he ran and, despite everything the Board of Education threw at him, he's made significant progress on all three.
He's an impressive young man. Smart, good looking, talented ... like his Dad ; )
