Well looking into it deeper, that may be now.

Apparently the ban happened but was quickly reversed.

But it certainly boosts the curiosity levels on the book. And that's good.

I went to my Amazon account and searched for the book you said is banned and learned the book is available on Amazon for purchase from multiple sellers both in paperback and hard cover editions.
Interesting.

The backstory is Amazon did indeed decide to remove print versions d/t "offensive content." Those were taken down 3 days ago.

Vauban Books raised hell about it, and then eventually released the OP letter, by which time it appears Amazon had already decided to reverse its decision (probably why the book was there when you checked). Great publicity for a book no one had ever heard of.

Meanwhile, leftists can't stop shrieking that certain books about male fudge-packing are 'banned!!' because some elementary schools don't have them in their libraries..

book first published in 1973 that depicts the destruction of the west through third-world mass migration.

Aw shucks, now that the book is banned by Amazon, nobody will be able to put the pieces together and figure it out for themselves. It will jus be one big coincidental mystery.

It’s been a popular book “on the right” for years, and various media sources have written about it and its supposed connection to MAGA over the course of the past decade.

Heh, same here. Amazon Streisand'd this thing back into the public consciousness.

The most quoted passage from the "Camp of the Saints" is this one, which has been used frequently in the push against mass migration:

"Your universe has no meaning to them. They will not try to understand. They will be tired, they will be cold, they will make a fire with your beautiful oak door."

My first English translation hard copy w/original dust jacket appears to have increased in value.

Probably will diminish as the book gains readership through sales of new paperback copies.

I went on Amazon after listening to Matt Walsh’s monologue, and it was back on there selling for $25.

Hmmph...sounds like Hemingway. Simplistically poetic. To the point.

I hope AI gives us the power to somewhat mitigate this overpopulation stuff. But there will have to be honest and red line QUALIFIERS for any forms of mass subsidization. Lest 'suicidal empathy' sink the whole boat.

Good advice.

In this case what was reported did happen for a day or 2.
