Very disappointed in Bregs for jumping in on the kids who allegedly "harassed" an adult who approached them beating a drum. He's since deleted at least two tweets condemning the kids.

Looks like he offered a half-assed attempt of an apology and since has removed it as well. sorry not sorry

Dude has been liberal and outspoken for awhile. You don’t have to adopt your favorite athletes political views. You can literally just watch them play their sport and ignore them in every other facet of both their and your life.

People have this weird need to be something, anything on Twitter.

It's nothing more then raw sewage.

I'm sure you're a big John Rocker fan.

I actually could not care less about John Rocker to be honest with you.

John Rocker and I’s tacit agreement was for him to throw the ball hard as frick and for me to watch it and enjoy it. If he didn’t throw it hard as frick then I could be disappointed in him because that was the boundaries of our transaction. Anything outside of that is irrelevant

ETA: except Dwight Howard. He a a raging douchebag and I hope he has a terrible life

Hilarious Given the lefts actions against those that the disagree with politically.

Hell this specific event is based on liberals doxing young students because they were Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats.

Minus POTUS Tweets as the necessary evil to get the word out over the heads of the msm, absolute truth.

He can literally be disappointed that Bregs fell for the lie told by the msm and blue check marks and still enjoy his play on the field.

Having your ideology and being passionate about it is one thing but being a coward and walking away from the story when new evidence comes to light is quite another.

Me? I have a general rule of thumb and I wait at least 24 hours to come to a fully formed opinion on stories like these and Buzzfeed and that's a good rule to have in this day and age of rampant fake news.

That is fine, perhaps even best, as long as IT COMES WITH A CORRECTION AND AN APOLOGY.

Yeah POTUS should be the only one tweeting to speak directly to the people.

Nobody gives a crap what half-arse famous people tweet and it always seems to get them in trouble.

Not directing this at you but I'm kinda over people being outspoken about politics. I wish we'd go back to the days when people kept their opinions to themselves and then we wouldn't have to worry about 'starting a conversation', etc.

I had a relative thru marriage lose an election in Nov (I laughed) and her mom did this how wonderful that young people (she's not even that young) are involved. Puhleeze- just what we need more politicians.

But why? Bregs has no obligation to him in regards to political views. OP doesn’t watch Bregs play baseball for his political views. He watches him play baseball because he’s good at playing baseball.

Are you disappointed because Bregs likes strawberry ice cream and you think it’s gross? No, because Bregs’ transaction with you is over baseball, not ice cream... or politics.

I don't give two shits about Beers.

That doesnt change anything I said.

If you don't like it because someone is disappointed that Bregs is just another NPC then that's just fine. He fell for the lie. That disappointed some of his fans.

It's not a big deal.

Now People know more about who he is. He told them.

It should be this way for all celebrities and athletes. Our society exalts them for their world class skill in acting or playing sports. Why we care about anything they say or do outside of that is irrelevant and just sets us up to be disappointed with no actual impact to the famous persons life.

It’s dumb and people need to change how they view these things

Bregman is a great baseball player, but a lot of people at LSU will tell you that he's also an arrogant prick. This isn't the first time that one of his loony left-wing tweets has come back to bite him in the arse.

He fell for the lie. He took to a public platform. People are going to be disappointed. Not sure why you are arguing anything. He did this willingly.
