Jefferson County, AL Health Officer is planning to ask for state permission to issue even more stringent shelter-in-place orders for Jefferson County (i.e., stricter than what the state stay-at-home order does).

No matter what they issue, you WILL be allowed to leave your house.

People need to realize that these orders and guidances are all the same damn thing.

Im going kayak fishing this weekend in Texas. Other than stopping for gas it seems to be a great way to socially isolate.

FALSE

read her order. There are so many "essential" services now. She expanded on what's open.

Dude, you're in the south. Louisiana has no leg to stand on when it comes to inbreeding.

If they are stuck at home wouldn't it go up?

I don’t see how in the hell this is enforceable. All you have to say is I’m going to the grocery store.

No one is ever going to stop you or ask where you are going.

Nothing about these orders changes from what was already happening. It’s politicians playing semantics in order to “do something”.

Exactly, it's just a means for people to attain comfort from THE GOVERNMENT OF ALL ENTITIES which is antithetical to the entire concept of AMERICA, word I've heard from Alabama is people are already practicing social distancing and restaurants and other places are restricting their capacities in municipalities that haven't already imposed stay-at-home orders. It's all a farce.
