And if a marijuana smoker knows he/she has an upcoming drug test, they can just stop for 2-4 weeks and it's out of their system.

Trust me, most drug users know how to beat drug tests.

Trust me ... some evidently cannot "just stop" ... and, trust me, some think they are smart enough to beat drug tests, and most of them are stupid and wrong.

Trust me ... we waste a lot of fricking money and time for people who swear that the pre-employment drug screen will be "no problem" ... and, guess what ... turns out, it is.

True. My buddy Blades was snorting so much marijuana there is no way he could ever kick the habit. He snorted too much at a party one night and has been in a mental institution since. They pump him so full of Thorazine, you can hardly recognize him.

Huh. South Carolina reports you can only collect for 20 weeks, even shorter than Alabama. Didn't realize they had both in the same offices though.

Some, sure. Some others are casual users and can just stop and pass a drug test with no problem.

But of course there are dumb people out there, and there are true addicts out there that won't or can't stop.

Fake piss costs $35 and no one is legally allowed to watch you urinate unless it is for court. Keep suggesting we waste money though.

You could teach them but I suspect many don't want to be taught.

Sure, though I'm sure there are many that do as well. To be honest, when I did get a chance to talk to a lot of them, they were still trying to apply for jobs the old fashioned way: Go in to a business, sit down and fill out a employment form, turn in, start walking to the next place.

I didn't get to teach a class, but I helped a few type out some resumes and got them online with keywords. They didn't own computers but could use the ones in the offices. I helped one guy apply for 25 jobs in one day. Sadly I never grabbed their contact info to find out if they were able to find one that way or not.

I mean ... hell ... we even tell them ... if you think you may not pass ... maybe just leave now and come back in a month.

You try to help people ... and these stupid frickheads just waste your time and money.

I really don't care if they starve. frick'em. Chow down on some meth and drink some Clorox.

Drug tests people can plan for aren't really an indicator of who is using drugs.

Neither is a lack of drug tests people don't have to plan for.

work requirements

This brings to mind Jesse Jackson's description of a "meanness mania" taking root in America, when Reagan pontificated the "workfare" concept.

Wait so jobs that illegal uneducated immigrants do require skills unattainable by Americans?

How much skill does it take to pick a tomato.

All that is being asked is to find some kind of job and you get to keep your food stamps right.

As Mulvaney stated, if you're able bodied you need to be working.
But Obama took all the jobs. When he left office, unemployment was 30%, 40%, some people even say %1249 I heard just now.
