Montgomery starts the fascist curfew tomorrow, but Montgomery is a black eye on the state anyway

Arkansas has no state lockdown order, either. Gov doubled down today saying he wouldn't do it because cases are way lower than expected.
He did, though, close some state parks, and all to out of staters, because A-holes from Louisiana kept coming into the state to enjoy our beautiful landscapes and lakes instead of staying home.

Pretty sure City of Birmingham is doing this already. Folks were talking on radio how officers were writing tickets for folks on road

Yeah the cities being affected by this have stay in place orders already.

Bet a lot of those get paid

What's different about a stay in place than what has already been implemented?
That’s what a lot of people are asking but it’s not stopping people like John Archibald from bleeding from there wherevers. Archibald and the like are choosing to virtue signal instead of answering what difference it would make when most counties/cities already have one.
I’m more upset that Ivey is basically being propped up by her advisors and won’t answer live questions from reporters. She just reads off note cards because she’s a complete imbecile.

Birmingham does not.
However today Mee Maw did sign an EO to let parole & probation violators out of jail that haven't been before a judge in 20 days when the courts are shut down.

Ran at Red Mtn yesterday and cops were at the entrance telling everyone to stay six feet apart. Other than that I have not seen any issues with the popo.

Didn’t know he had that. Archibald is awful. He, Whitmire, and Josh Moon are three of the most smug, pretentious douchebags in the state. They clearly hate living here and do nothing but catalog everything that’s wrong.
They’re all crying right now simply because Ivey isn’t signing a piece of paper that changes nothing on the ground.

I don't know what all of the "shelter in place" or "stay at home" orders of others states specifically say and do, but when looking at a few of them, they really don't seem that much different than what Alabama has done as far as closing certain non-essential businesses, limiting gatherings and all of that. Alabama just hasn't issued anything officially called a "shelter in place order" or "stay at home order."

Exactly. If the complaint is that Ivey is dragging her feet on doing something that would literally change things, then I get the criticism. However, if it doesn’t change anything and it’s a token order, then it’s dishonest to say the state isn’t doing anything.

and that needs to continue
no reason to take additional steps that empower unwarranted stops
