They may be but it’s one thing to blow them out of the water when they attack and quite another thing to bomb them in another sovereign country.

Yeah better to let them continue doing that than take out the source. Maybe they won't sink any ships, but if they do who cares? The ships probably belong to some white imperialist country.

I did not claim it was the houthis. Also, conflicting reports about Iraq, some say bases, others say the embassy. We will see

Biden just issued a lengthy statement.

According to reporters, reporting FOR him.

Why would Yemen strike our bases in Iraq

You realize they are in a civil war with the Houthis

Your post implies they are striking US bases

It’s called the Austin Doctrine. Your Secretary of Defense goes AWOL for days, and you don’t know it, so your former boss has to order a hit.

(Which I support BTW).

Houthi rebels have been attacking major shipping lanes, disrupting international commerce and driving up the price of essential goods.

While I'm not opposed to bombing assholes, they're primarily driving up the costs of essential goods for Europe and Asia. I'd prefer to see the European and Asian militaries doing the lion's share of the bombing.

They've been attempting to strike U.S. military vessels for weeks now with UAVs.
