Well it's blown past 1:56 PM and still no Merrick Garland. You reckon there's some tension and raised voices behind that curtain.
Maybe something like this......
Garland: You SOBs got that judge to sign that f*****g search warrant without my approval. Now I've got to go out there and lie to save you and all our asses.
DOJ Senior Attorney: Merrick. Please calm down. Simple solution. Just lie. We can deal with the fallout from the lie later. Listen we need a video of Trump getting cuffed and stuffed before the mid-terms. Don't you go f*** this up by going religion on us.
Garland: Okay. Where's makeup?

Not only that, they're allowed to plant evidence and lie under oath with no fear of consequences, then swear it's all true on their televised media-circus-sham-investigation/kangaroo court - without being challenged.

I think they have the warrant but the info pertaining to the warrant is sealed.
That would make sense.

This is a lie. No leadership at the lower level would be willing to go rogue and do this on their own without telling their higher ups. Absolute BS.
Not trying to start a fight here, serious question. Would Garland be involved in that decision making process at all or would the FBI Director Christopher Wray be the top person making the decision?

Yeah, targets aren't normally privy to that.

On the government side, the warrant is still under seal, although there is an action filed by the press to unseal the warrant. I don't think Trump is bound by the seal order, though.
The warrant would tell you nothing. The part under seal is what needs to be released.

Media running with the "WH had no knowledge" ruse, which everyone knows is a lie, which means whatever is happening is probably a continuation of something stupid and unpopular and unbecoming of a first world country (hence the WH wanting no connection).

There’s a 0% chance the AG would not know that a former presidents house was going to be raided.
They can lie all they want, no one will believe that.

Gartland IS PROBABLY late because the WH called Garland and changed their mind on what they want him to say. Because they realized how dangerous this was and the world thinks we are derelict Venezuela.

There is 0% chance that both of them were not involved.
Update: Garland to speak for 5 minutes and take no questions.

Seriously Mickey? You can bet the WH knew as well...

The decision to execute a warrant against a former president? Surely you'd want top level sign-off before doing such a thing, right?
ETA: If this was a decision that didn't go through every possible channel, then people would already have been publicly fired.

I would assume that before any move is made against a former President everyone (DOJ, FBI, AG, WH) would have their ducks in a row.
Thats why the "we didnt know" bullshite is getting laughed at. No lower level agent is going to do that without prior approval.
And if it did happen then that agent needs his arse handed to him.

Same for the WH. Maybe they didn't outright tell Biden just so he could maintain that denial, but zero chance Klain or someone else close to Biden didn't have knowledge of it.

Probably not even Wray under normal circumstances. I would imaging some tier of management below the director could greenlight a raid. However, this is a former President, so I dont think there's an agent alive who does this without permission, or even direction, from the WH.

Yeah heard that as well-- that Garland and WH didn't know.
This makes them look even more dumb. And Biden looks like a hack weak shitty POTUS>
