For being told by a few on this board, of how "dumb" Landry is, he sure has amassed a large number of wins against this administration. What is the explanation as to why some think he is "dumb"? All i can gather, is that some went to school with Landry and didn't like him then, thus he is dumb now.

His track record as AG is very respectable.

Yea I think he will 100% be the next governor. Don’t quite understand the hate either.

All I can think of is he was a Tea Party guy at one time. He seems pretty based to me but I'm sure there's a lot about him I don't know too.

Well he was extremely underqualified to be AG. That said, he's done a damn good job fighting the good fight. My doubts about him have been mostly placated by his job performance.

He’s not a great administrator, but he has a great team in the solicitors office, and they have really put some skins on the wall taking on Governor Edwards and President Biden.

Hopefully he is well aware of the cheating going on in the major LA cities and addresses it beforehand. He is the AG after all.

He files any suit he thinks will score him political points.

He loses plenty and it doesn’t matter the base eats it up.

Overall he’s probably a better politician than atty.

Or Gravy. I’m sure he’ll run for governor next.

I like Landry where he is.

I don’t want him to be the governor bc he’s polarizing. I would, however, love him to stay at AG then run for Senator.

He votes the exact correct way on all federal issues. I think there’s a tendency towards some dealings that are not on the level that I think we should keep out of the Gov mansion.

I like the idea of Graves running bc I think one of our biggest local problems is coastal / drainage and we need to address this state wide. This is Graves’ pet issue.

Can you give me a list of the notable cases he's lost?

I don't hate him, I just don't trust him. His amendment to USCG reauth while a congresscritter would have shutdown a lot of existing offshore oil and production with 1960's technology so that the workboat operators could make serious bank. Louisiana owned offshore oil and gas companies were really really pissed and jump to Boustany when they went head to head for the congressional seat

Thankfully Boustany got it kicked out at the conference committee due Senate bill did not have this crap

Lost respect for him when he went into hiding during the stolen election. He seems soft to me.

Although he's the early front runner I just have this feeling Landry will be a hot mess as Gov - I just don't see him being tempermentally suited for the job. At all. But he has been a very effective AG and I would LOVE to see him in the Senate which seems like a better fit for his personality anyway.
