Republicans poured in more outside money than Democrats in this election

I hate his policies and agenda but he's a friend of mine who I've known for a decade and there's a good person under there.

*sigh*

And it was a special election on a random Tuesday, which Republicans have been pretty terrible with in the past couple decades.

I mean, we could use another example.

The Florida special election on April 1, 2025.

That was less than 6 months after Trump was elected.

Waltz won that election by +33.

Randy Fine won it by +14.

The actual expected results for this is about half of what you would expect for a mainstream election.

This situation fits.

Van Epps would have likely won by ~20 had it been during a national election.

Democrats were as fired up as they could be and they all turned out. With all that Behn still get 41,000 fewer votes than former disgraced Nashville mayor Barry got 13 months ago.
If anything is bad from this it is that rural folks continue not to show up and vote.

A 10 point swing in special elections is the median average. This one was 13.

Print the shirts girl, you did it!

There are only moral victories here. Nothing real.

She lost, she's a vapid bitch and we're all better off.

This is the same broad that recently got placed involuntary upon her fourth point of contact when she tried to impermissibly bust into the Governor's office, correct?

I’m always worried about the mids but this election didn’t cause worry. It was a pretty good win for GOP in a December special election. Context does matter. You decided to frame it like the Democrat media.

Not much to read into this. Leftists turn out for elections. All elections.

We have to get conservatives to vote like that too.

Exactly.

Look at past special elections.

They tend to always look like this.

All I know is... Tennessee needs to clean its house. There needs to be a movement and GOP voter outreach in Nashville and Nashville burbs. With all the out of state libs moving there, a moron like Behn can win the next election.

I agree, the GOP needs several Scott Presslers in every state doing work.
