After watching the MSM sleep for all 8 years of Obama, I made a prediction

My prediction was that we the people would have to once again elect a white male as POTUS in order for the MSM to ever resume their function as the 4th estate.

As soon as the next Democrat is elected POTUS, the unemployment rate will tick up immediately as every investigative reporter in the country will suddenly be out of work for a period of at least 4 years.

I'm using the Merriam-Webster definition of the 4th state: "The independent press who becomes the guardian of public integrity"
In other words, a press that works on behalf of the people to keep govt honest, instead of functioning as a propaganda arm of a political party.

I thought they would be fair for the most part. But the majority of the 4th estate is partisan and a mouth piece for the Democrat Party.

I'm with your general premise, but I don't think either race or gender matters that much to the media if it's a republican.
I mean, most treat Ruth Bader Ginsburg like the FIRST female Supreme Court Justice and are more than happy and willing to excoriate any black man who deems to join the GOP.
