re: After Trump is acquitted he should get rid of everyone around him not MAGA

I think his second term will be much different. I think he tried to play nice with the establishment a little too much in his first term so he wouldn’t have both sides openly trying to remove him from office. And he also wasn’t quite aware of everything the job entailed.
Posted on 1/30/20 at 11:35 am to FlexDawg
I think the problem is there aren’t enough MAGA people in DC to fill all the positions.

kellyann conway pretty much said that he will after the election
she said trump has been getting rid of leakers and most are already gone, but he wants contrarians around him so he gets ideas from all sides before making decisions on important matters. the problem is you never really know who just doesnt agree with your thinking vs those who actively will try to undermine you and in some cases leak and release private info
i understand why trump likes to have people who disagree to give him balanced opinions, but damn its frustrating

So what are your thoughts on Obama cleaning house not only in his administration but in the military as well?

It’s doing what the fricking American people voted for.
ETA: Less than 20% of the American people voted for Trump.

e. But, I think it would be a bad look if he did it right after (as opposed to when he's reelected), and how much harm would it do to lose that many people at once. You can't cut your nose off to spite your face
What, it would look so bad they’d try to impeach him again?
Na screw how it looks, get rid of scum supporting or conspiring to use closed door secret intelligence apparatus to undermine the national interest and trust.

Lmao what an idiot. Trump won what represented more than 57% of Americans. Popular vote only represents the small minority of Americans that actually vote. I’m glad we chose a better way to elect the President that represents all Americans instead of only a minority.

The American people who caused the electoral college to distribute points to Trump won the election for him not the American people who caused the electoral college to distribute votes to Hillary Clinton.
That’s how you win elections in America. Trump won 3,084 counties while Hillary only won 57 counties. His support was represented more broadly while the bulk of Hillary’s support came from isolated heavily populated metro areas.
So literal American citizens voting from more areas in the US is what caused the electoral college to give Trump the win. They voted MAGA so MAGA should be implemented. If people in Trumps administration are willingly trying to prevent that then they should be removed. That’s not the same as someone having a difference of opinion.

Spin it however you need in order to quell your melt, but Trump doesn’t have the mandate of the people. It isn’t required to hold the office, but fewer than 20% of the people voted for him. “Will of the people” isn’t a valid point if he didn’t win the popular vote.
It’s beyond remarkable how good a job some people are doing at totally not being mad at all that i offered this slight correction.

The people who mattered got him elected.
Popular vote has never elected a president into office.
So if Trump met the criteria to win then his agenda should be implemented.

popular vote.
Is irrelevant.
May as well talk about keeping score in football by how many baskets they shoot. Fact of the matter is trump won with the representation of 57% of Americans.

Lmao no president would ever have a mandate with your logic, fewer than 50% of the population even vote at all, forget any one candidate winning a popular vote With more than 50% of the eligible voting population.
It’s beyond remarkable how ignorant and irate people get when corrected about a simple misconception they incorrectly attempt to correct.

I want to see a Stalin style purge. And move the NSC out of the White House.

I think he would if he could, but there really isn’t a big enough pool of MAGA people that are competent for him to chose from. That has been a problem from the get go and why there have been bad hires.

It is not uncommon for an incoming US administration to clean house day 1. Been happening since the dawn of time.
No need for hyperbolic alarmism.

Trumps biggest problem is he has never had a strong or the right Chief of Staff. A strong Chief of Staff would/could nix many of the issues that we have seen.
He should have brought in Gingrich as COS.
I would also like to see many federal departments/agencies moved completely out of DC. Move some of them around the country to different locations.
