I was at the game and saw very VERY
few Commanders fans booing. They were mostly clapping and cheering. The ones booing were the Michigan folks cheering for Detroit.

I would have guessed that the traveling Lions fans would be way more Republican than the local DC fans. From my experiences Commanders have one of the largest black fan bases in America who regularly attend games (rivaled only by Baltimore, Atlanta and New Orleans).
But maybe things have changed as I haven't really been a part of traveling the NFL circuit for 6 years now.
Michigan went for Trump 2 (or maybe 3) times and Maryland / DC / VA are all far more liberal. Plus Lions fans who travel have disposable income.
