She has a committee ready to go to change racist street names. That is so much more important than cleaning out the drainage system, building more houses, murders and crime and traffic and roads. C'mon!

I didn't vote for her the first or second time and flooding had zero to do with it for me. In the grand scheme of things you can say she is probably better than Denise Marcelle or LaToya. That's about the nicest thing I can think of to say.

Lack of attention to parish drdunsge problems is definitely an issue Broome has failed to address effectively.

But she also has failed in public safety (crime) and garbage pick up. Two big services she administers in BR and in case of garbage parish wide.

Her road program has been passed but do far folks are seeing very little from it despite its high price tag. I suspect she’s dragging this out to start big projects right before her next election.

She needs to be defeated.

There was a recall effort for her that was on "facebook" for a short time. I don't know what became of it. MOP and her were working on blowing up the election for St. George but that has muted down I think due to Chyna-19. I would be curious to see her daily schedule, is she only doing ribbon cuttings? This drainage disaster will kill the economy of the 5 parish region and I believe she thinks it will solve itself and people will "forget" about it. I know many people with rain PTSD. If it rains more than 15 minutes they really start to worry. Broome is not qualified to be mayor and I never voted for her.

You think the people that flooded voted for her the first time? Owners of homes are no longer the voting majority in EBR

I have a different standard for choosing to oppose Broome. I would not vote for her after the sun comes up in the east.

There is no next election for her. She cannot serve more of than 2 consecutive terms, thank God. Of course, if Marcelle runs again and is elected, things will undoubtedly be much worse.

I’m pretty sure that the mayor of BR has a limit of 3 terms.
But in BR, it will only continue to get progressively worse once she’s gone anyway.
