Yep, the colonials tried educate them out of their savagery, but they've been returning to their cannibalisticxm ways since they've pulked out.

What was there to be destroyed? Sub-Saharan Africa didn’t even have the Wheel when Europe arrived.

They didn’t call it “Darkest Africa” because of the skin color.

Africa has some of the lowest IQs if some of the maps I have seen are accurate. If the general population is poorly educated their isn't much you can do except go draconian. Plenty of evidence of that in the US

The Post on Selassie is one of THE most substantive and inspiring offerings that I have ever read on this Forum. I wish I had time to listen to the words of a truly great warrior for Truth.

Humans are mostly identical, but for minor characteristics. But like winning the 100 meter run in an Olympic competition, it is a matter of thousandths of a second between the 'winner' and 'loser'.

I have long believed that particular folk in the European lineage are indeed "God's Chosen"...in that these said individuals posses - both Genetically (motivated) and Culturally manifested - exhibit and extraordinary ability in their character to envision Truth, and the idea that Love is ultimately the highest calling of the "Children of God".

I know of one African person (Nigerian) who told me that "love and family is everything for Nigerian People"; he is an extraordinary man. NWS, that there will always be renegades in any Group of Humans.

I pray that the seeds of Truth and Love will become the guiding force for all people, because all people have the ability to experience such. I think it is easier for people who are more 'simple' minded to be more innocent in their love. Of course, that is the assumed Axiom that ignorance is a form of innocence's. Both ignorance, and intellectual knowledge can be highly problematic; and as "power corrupts", corrosive toward the principles of Love and Truth.

Off into the weeds I go. God bless Selassie. Not a perfect man, but a damn good one.

It would be interesting to see what South Africa will be like in 50 years.

If someone with more power, money, arms, and education showed up and started telling you and your family what to do at the point of a gun would you enjoy it just because they also built roads?

Would you rather live in a mud hut knowing how to do little beyond hunt for food vs learning how to live a longer and more sustainable life from a more advanced society?

That assumes I’m not one of the people killed, but personally I enjoy my heritage, my family, and my way of doing things. I assume other people living elsewhere do as well.

Stupidity destroyed it. If you can't figure out that there is no food or water where you live then the onus is on you.

You sound like one of those people that would trade freedom for security.

I’d rather ask an African

There's a video I saw interviewing older black women of South Africa saying that life was better under apartheid. It's probably been banned.

The best video I've seen is a Chinese manager leaving Africa and visiting his black foreman who blamed their failure on colonialism.

Old Chinese guy said: 'Your country had railroads before China. Now your railroads are gone. Didn't you learn anything from the white man?'

The African just dropped his head in shame.

A well known saying goes as such: "White men arriving was the worst thing to ever happen to Africa. The white man leaving Africa was the second worst". That is a quote from When a Crocodile Eats the Sun.

Makes sense. I resent OP for making me feel like I need to defend Africa.
