Brother, I don't see how you can misinterpret what he said. I mean we can paraphrase and go one way or another all day long. The bottom line is he is saying that Tyler Robinson is a right-wing conservative MAGA person. There's no other way to cut it. I've read it three different times and it's plain to see. That's what he was saying and that is a lie and you should not be able to get on television and lie

It's the straw that broke the camels back. His show is a ratings dud and a money loser. He's a serious PR liability at this point as well. When the show launched they didn't think they were signing Rachel Maddow to host a political sermon show but that's what it's become.

Yeah, this counter-response of "you're doing what you accuse the left of" is mostly horseshite.
Kimmel knew he was wading into an emotional topic where a lot of anger was just waiting on him to light a match. He did so knowingly. He isn't a stupid man. He knows his employer still has plenty of scars from wading into hot-button political topics that cost them a CEO and a lot of employees. He knew this would cause more problems for them and he did it anyway. ABC's response to the actions he chose to make are their prerogative as a private company.
He isn't being hauled in front of a judge like Alex Jones was. He isn't being arrested like many in Britain are right now for expressing opinions. Just like Disney was quick to kick Gina Carano to the curb for posts on social media, why is Kimmel different? As Carrano did, he can take them to court... but this isn't a first amendment issue and I fail to see why any conservative should have sympathy for a long-time a-hole who made a living insulting them suddenly getting checked for more or less accusing "MAGA" of being somehow responsible for Charlie Kirk's killer.
