Remember when Adam Schiff acted like it was an impeachable offense to assert privilege? Judicial Watch remembers.

The phone records led to the publication of the private phone records of Giuliani, Congressman Devin Nunes, journalist John Solomon, Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, attorney Victoria Toensing, and other American citizens.
In their 14-page motion Schiff and the Committee claim “sovereign immunity;” “Speech or Debate Clause” privilege; immunity from FOIA and transparency law; that the records are secret; and that Judicial Watch and public do not need to see them.
Judicial Watch filed its lawsuit under the public’s common-law right of public access to examine government records after it received no response to a December 6, 2019, records request (Judicial Watch v. v Adam Schiff and U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (No. 1:19-03790)):

it's still amazing to me that the President was impeached for doing something that i believe is considered legal by the courts as of today, but certainly did not have its final day in court prior to impeachment

Somewhere along the line, someone came up with this preposterous notion that if the President conducts any level of foreign policy that may help him politically, he is illegally obtaining personal benefits from a foreign power.
That person should have been immediately slapped.
Also, apparently its perfectly fine for a Democrat Vice President and a Democrat Secretary of State to collect millions upon millions of dollars in foreign bribes or rerouted foreign aid so long as it is funneled through a foundation or family member.

that isn't even the article of impeachment i'm talking about
i'm talking about him fighting Congress's subpoena via the courts, exercising his due process rights. IMPEACHED

Interference with Congress.
Which, you know, is the actual job of the President.

I mean it’s basic common sense.
Every first term US President who has ever engaged in acts of foreign policy has pretty much done so (in at least most cases) to the benefit of the United States. Ergo, he’s done his job the way he was supposed to, thereby enhancing his re-election chances.
It’s not even a basic stretch of logic.

Probably the worst part are criminals like Clinton and Biden hiding behind their ridiculous shield of "political opponent" - as if running for office should shield them from being investigated.
Yet, President Obama opening an investigation into Trump in the middle of 2016 election - totally kosher.

These people don’t give the first shite about being blatantly hypocritical. They know the media will not call them on it.
