We’re fine with a vote of the people, as long as all of those people were alive when they cast their ballot and voted legally. It’s been proven that didn’t happen and the numbers don’t add up.

The good news is Illinois will lose one representative based on the last census. There is a good chance Kinzinger is out once the liberal Illinois legislature redistricts.
It's a loss for the GOP but a good loss. On net the 2020 census will provide a 2-3 GOP gain in the House IIRC.

With some exceptions they're all in the same uniparty. Its all a performance. I hate it, but that's my belief. Somewhere graft and money has taken over everything. I've always been a libertarian but there used to be many democrats and many more repubs I respected. Dennis Kucinich comes to mind as a guy who I'd disagree with on most issues, but he was representing his district and you knew he truly believed what he said, no matter how wrong it was from my perspective. He wasn't purchased. That doesn't exist any longer. There are few on either side of the uniparty that I'd bother saving if drowning.
