Most of the reports coming out are coming from women who said "no" and some of them are significant stars (Jolie, Paltrow) and some second-tier actresses that had good careers. I read an account by one woman who as a young woman aspired to be an actress, was waiting tables and got the invite to the "office". He pulled the routine, she bailed and basically gave up on acting and pursued another career - the encounter turned her off on the industry. I would bet there are a lot of no-talent actresses (dime-a-dozen) that he pulled this on and if they said no, he didn't have to wreck their career - they just weren't going to make it regardless. I think that is probably the majority of cases.

But this doesn't pass the smell test because why would it ever work then? I mean obviously word got around. If word was getting around that saying no to him was no big deal for your career then basically everybody worth a shite would say no.

But more importantly he would have stopped trying with anybody worth a shite which he clearly didn't do

Humans are the whole lot different than rats in a maze. They tend to go where the cheese is and clearly there was cheese in the section of the maze Harvey was spending time in

And let's face it. No significant star is going to admit they slept with him because such an admission reflects poorly on them too. Yeah it's pretty obvious that some of them did or like I said he wouldn't have kept trying

Meanwhile, I care because I would like to occasionally watch pop culture bullshite without wondering if the people behind it were rapists or not.

There have been 35 or so actresses who have claimed that HW made a pass at them or sexually assaulted them. I strongly suspect that there are numerous actresses who actually did have sex with him. It seems pretty clear to me that his actions had some success--why else would he continue to have followed his modus operandi with the women who have come forward?

We are hearing from those who resisted his overtures--I've read that there was one woman who has gone public and who did have a relationship with HW, but for the most part the rest who have gone public tried to escape his clutches. We are not hearing from the actresses who agreed to have sex and whose careers were presumably helped.
