MIDTOWN MANHATTAN OFFICE SHOOTING: 6 SHOT, 2 DEAD, GUNMAN DOWN
Midtown Manhattan turned into chaos on Monday as a gunman armed with a rifle stormed an office building at 52nd Street and Park Avenue, home to Blackstone and the NFL.
At least six people were shot, including a security guard, with two civilians confirmed dead.
Video shows NYPD officers carrying victims and providing aid on the ground.
The gunman opened fire in the lobby, continued shooting on another floor, then made his way to the 33rd floor and shot himself.
NYPD and FBI rushed to the scene, evacuating and sweeping the building for more threats.
Mayor Eric Adams urged locals to stay away from Park Avenue and East 51st.
Expect major transit disruptions while police lock down the area and continue their search.

Some have said only 2, others have said 6, somebody reported wounded in the stair wells. Dude abandoned his car in an intersection, somebody said they were searching for booby traps.

I think it looks exactly like 5.56, but it's too blurry zoomed in. Also can't tell if that's a suppressor or his sling hanging off the barrel.
