Just a crazy thought but if you make cities, counties, states and public officials legally responsible for any death or injury that occurs as a result of their sanctuary policies, you’d have a powerful tool at your disposal for immigration enforcement.

In a just world, the family sues the State (directly responsible party) into bankruptcy for the death of their loved ones at the hands of an individual who was not legally permissible in this nation. It's a clear and indefensible violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324 by a State Government.

Since violations of 8 U.S.C. § 1324 are felonious, and in most States any death that occurs during the commission of a felony [shall be] classified as murder, there's a valid argument that the State itself is guilty of murder, and should compensate the family of the victims accordingly as well as face the consequences.

The MD was used as postal abbreviation for Maryland to distinguish this case from others in other states. And my sentence structure...

This criminal is a long, long, long way from being an MD.
