For not taking the vaccine. They're giving me an Article 92 for "failing to follow an order" and giving me an admin discharge. I outright told them "no" and they weren't too happy, but I'm not about to be a lab rat.

Honestly I'll be glad to get out, I'll lose my VA benefits but I'll keep my principles.

Take a look at your shot record and ask yourself this when you do: "why am I concerned about the COVID vaccine when I was not concerned for the plethora of other vaccines I have gotten thus far?"

Honestly you need to seriously weight you desicion. I am a retired SMSgt (22 years retired in 2018) and I'm as conservative as they come. Every year you took the jab for a flu shot at a minimum, why not turn those down (when proven less effective than COVID vax)?

When the VA asked if I wanted to get the shot I said sure. I have had Anthrax multiple times and as someone else said smallpox, typhoid, TB ...etc etc etc. My shot records are no shite 3 plus pages.

Its my opinion that many want to be defiant because the president (not my president BTW) is a dem. I think if our president (Trump) were still in office many more would get it.

Bottom line is the benies you lose will be a heavy burden to bare in the future. And getting out right now in this terrible times under a shite administration my be at your own peril.

You are not dealing with rational people here. When it comes to the covid vaccine, the hive mind on this board has gone total Q batshit insane.

If you are seriously concerned about the mRNA vaccines (and there is quite literally no rational reason to be concerned):

Just get the J&J one and move on with your life and keep your VA benefits. Jesus.

How many of those were mRNA gene therapies vs actual vaccines? I’ll hang up and listen.

ETA: I do know this, when the PFC tells you to take the Tylenol for the Typhoid Fever two-parter, take the fricking Tylenol. Stuck it in my pocket and regretted it for a week.

Do you even understand how mRNA vaccines work? Here let me school you so you stop acting like big brother is hiding in the closet ready to pull everyone's toes when the go to bed at night:

quote:

How do COVID-19 messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines work?
Traditional vaccines put a weakened or inactivated germ into our bodies. Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines, like the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, teach cells how to make a protein that triggers an immune response if someone gets infected. When the vaccine is injected into the upper arm, the mRNA enters cells near the site of the injection and tells the cells to start making the same protein that is found in the COVID-19 virus. The immune system recognizes this protein and begins producing antibodies that can fight the virus if the vaccinated person is later infected.

None of the vaccines interact with or alter your DNA in any way, and therefore cannot cause cancer. MRNA is not the same as DNA and cannot be combined with DNA to change your genetic code. The mRNA is fragile, so after it delivers the instructions to your cells, it breaks down and disappears from the body (in about 72 hours). The mRNA never even goes into the nucleus of the cell — the part that contains your DNA. Therefore, there is no truth to the myth that somehow the mRNA vaccine could inactivate the genes that suppress tumors.

The COVID-19 vaccine does not expose you to the virus that causes COVID-19

I took all those as well. The worst reaction I ever had to a vaccine was both doses of Pfizer. I was basically bed ridden for an entire day both times.

That's after Anthrax + 5 boosters, JE, smallpox x2, all forms of typhoid, MMR, tetanus, all Hepatitis, etc.

Don’t be an idiot. Of course I know how they work. The real question is do you know what an actual vaccine was before the CDC changed definitions a couple of weeks ago?
The only assertion I made was that they were not the same and you posted the proof. Thanks .

How about you let him make his own decisions and live his own life.

You got the shot? Good for you.

You wear a mask? Good for you.

Those of us that are not living by someone else's rules accept your decision's.

LEAVE US THE frick ALONE.

Had the head of the nursing school my daughter attends tell her that if the J&J vaccine was the only one, the school would not ask any students to get it.

Now another question? How many years did they trial the vaccines that are required in the military today. Isn't a normal trial to study adverse effects of vaccines 3 to 5 years. Do you think the military would have discontinued the anthrax vax if they had had a few soldiers die a year after receiving the vax?

God bless you - asked this in another thread but I’m assuming if Trump or DeSantis were able to win in 2024 they’d be able to get your benefits restored and change it to an honourable discharge retroactively?

Ok well how old were you when you got those vaccines and how old are you now? Serious question.

I for one was in my late teens (about 19) when I first got the Anthrax vax an got more up until I was in my late 30s. I'm now 43 and I had zero negative effects other than a sore arm (shot location) on my 2nd Moderna shot. And if you have ever gotten the Anthrax vax you know that SOB burns and makes your are sore....not to mention your left with a hard knot for weeks.

I would fight the discharge type. I think you could win and upgrade it to an honorable.
