Was the Iranian ship heading home in international waters?

Seems like we took offense to the Iranian military murdering 30,000 of their own citizens. I feel like that is more cowardly and despicable than us blowing up their ship, but then again, I am an American who loves my country. If I hated my country, then I might somehow see Iran as the innocent victim in this.

There are no norms for Submarines rescuing survivors. Its actually specifically an exception in the Geneva Convention. You are dumb

You do grasp that you are posting sources that directly contradict each other?

So which is it? Were they unarmed as your source claims or armed as your other source claims?

And if they were currently unarmed, the Iranians should have either A) abandoned the WARSHIP in Indian waters instead of heading back to Iran, obviously to arm themselves and join the fight and/or b) Notifying the US and Israel of their location and that they are striking the flag to surrender the WARSHIP. But they didn't do that. For all intents and purposes, they were a criminal reaching for a gun after being ordered not to touch it.

And is the US supposed to trust that Iran has completely unarmed the vessel? That in the middle of an international conflict, this vessel would go out defenseless? Is the US supposed to let the WARSHIP return to and IRANIAN port to arm itself and go back out to fight?

How insane would a cop be to let someone who has an empty shotgun and wants to kill the cop to mosey back to their car where the cop knows they have a few boxes of ammo? The criminal knowing full well the cop is aware of their intention to go back to their car and arm themselves? Is the cop supposed to let the criminal put a few shells in their shotgun before opening fire?
