Let me show you guys how DUMB this thesis is, he doesn't understand that this proves why the Dems are going to lose.
IF...............
1.) Inflation was low and the Economy was booming that would be a TOP ISSUE for the Dems.
2.) The Dem Party had not of allowed 20 million Illegals in then Immigration would not even be 1 % buts is 16 % even for Dems.
3.) The Dems have been so bad in the White House that the only thing these Socialist ladies can say is ABORTION when they are asked what the most important issue is, if they said ANYTHING ELSE they would have to face the truth and Vote Donald John Trump for President.

Pro-Life is NEVER a losing strategy.
I just think this entire strategy bucks how Trump got here in the first place.
He's never really caved repeatedly to fears about public sentiment, and this cycle he's got surrogates out everyday trying to appease on abortion. Now all the grifting MAGA influencer types have their marching orders and are on social media attacking pro-lifers who object to the unnecessary and incessant caving. Which, of course, is just turning off people who had made peace with the compromise.
This won't impact my vote, and I don't think it'll matter terribly much for election turnout, but I think it's a big departure from Trump's typical MO. And I think it clearly displays the gathering clouds on the horizon post-election for the MAGA/social conservative tension/split.

The only thing that you and they need to acknowledge and come to terms with is that abortion is NOT a federal issue any longer. It has been ruled by the SCOTUS, and justly so, to be a state issue.
Politically it is very much a federal issue.

You sound like a sane person to have a political strategy conversation with...
Please explain how any of those statements are insane.

I'm sure you'd great at swaying them your way.
So the insane person isn't the one who ignores the reality of killing human beings simply because lots of women want to do so, but the one who is willing to speak directly about a very simple matter that we all know the truth about?
The sane guy is the one who is only concerned about the popularity of this issue rather than the morality of it.
The sane guys were the Nazi soldiers who nonchalantly took people off the trains to Auschwitz and herded them into the camps. The insane ones were the people horrified at the mass killing of human beings.
Got it.

Well...2024 is different than 2020 or 2016.
I agree that Trump would be in much better position to win if he would change some things about his approach. But those would be the messaging and tone aspects of his campaign.
I agree with you that this pandering...first on not paying tax on tips, now abortion...gets him nowhere with the swing voters he's trying to appeal to.

Get rid of alimony. Let's see this change over night.

The only thing a woman hates more than being a woman is responsibility. You can quote me on that.

I know it's a politically dangerous topic but Trump needs to get his message out that he supports leaving it up the states and has never suggested a national ban on abortion.
JD Vance reiterated this point Sunday on MSNBC. Trump does not support a national abortion ban.
