You do not have to be Christian to be a conservative. It just happens that a good chunk of christians live by conservative values. This is a flat strawman you have delivered.

Not at all many republicans run on their faith and family values. So they look like idiots when they get caught doing improper stuff... This has to do with their campaign approach and the hypocrisy there not if they're Christian or not in reality.
