I like Trey Gowdy but he has so little power in his current role.
Would have liked to have seen him named AG.
Then Sessions would still be in the senate, Doug Jones would be home in Alabama and Gowdy would be turning the screws at the DOJ.

I feel like the left beating Roy Moore took a lot of the venom away. That was a huge win for them and better him in a one-off than keep that anger and fervor pent up for another 10 months and get rolled in mid terms

Yeah. That was awesome. It was just slightly better than the Americans getting killed because of Hillary and the attempt of the Obama administration to cover it up. All of that was so cool.

Is that really an indictment of Gowdy given his limited power to gather information? The DOJ, the State Department and FBI flat out refused to provide requested documents.
No one thought he would corner the elusive Hillary in a question and answer setting.
