one which defines Christianity as accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior, that he died on the cross for your sins and was resurrected and that without him and a relationship with him our lives are meaningless
Not 1 word of this even mentions Paul.

What you cited is commonly known as Pauline Doctrine.
Because he is the one that creates it, not Jesus. Jesus says you must keep the commandments.

That's his thing, apparently, is to introduce a word in his response to a post that doesn't include that word he finds problematic

You still subscribe to Pauline Doctrine though correct?
If a rich man approaches you and asks you how to get into heaven. What is your response?
A. Say Jesus is Lord and believe he died for your sins.
B. Keep the commandments.
C. Legalism
D. Semantics
A is what Pauline Doctrine says.
B is correct and what Jesus says.
C and D are random terms that don't have anything to do with the discussion.

Even scholars admit that the writings of Paul were pretty consistent with the teachings of Jesus Christ
Accepting Christ as your savior and that he died for your sins doesn't mean you can still go against his teachings.

Jesus told his disciples to keep the commandments at the Last Supper if they loved him
He did not say that was the way that the world would get into heaven or be saved
So I'd imagine that he was telling his buddies on the last night of his life if they loved him they would keep the commandments because after he died and was resurrected he knew they were going to be spreading the gospel and he knew that keeping commandments were paramount because they were preaching it to Jews to begin with

In short he was telling them to practice what they preach

Not really.
Paul says nice things about Jesus and turns him into an idol. Your first act of becoming a Christian is to break the very first commandment.
The rich man is the obvious clue.
If a rich man asks you how to get into heaven, will you quote Jesus who says over and over you must keep the commandments and if you don't he will says he knows you not.
Or is it the free gift Paul teaches?

Yes really

Did Paul preach the same message as Jesus?
AI Overview
Yes, most biblical scholars and theologians agree that Jesus and Paul preached the same core message of salvation and God's reign, though they used different
You are obviously part of the Hebrew roots movement that believe we must go by the old testament commandments

Satan doesn't care if you believe in him or not only that you don't believe in GOD.

Jesus says it over and over.
I think you should read the entire chapter for full context because what Jesus is talking about here is a real experience and one you should have and need to have in order to properly keep the commandments.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
The entire chapter is critical, but these are where he says it directly.
There is also Mark 10 where tells the rich man he needs to keep the commandments. That's a direct confirmation and it's not a disciple.
Matthew 19, and so on.
It's a constant theme. Which makes sense because he was Jewish and that has always been the requirement. He did not change them, he fulfilled them. Which is to say - he showed how to follow them, and if someone should follow him - I mean really follow him, then you can also keep the commandments. He also shows what are really just the laws/systems/traditions of men rather than the laws of God.
You will not see him saying his death is what saves you.
Instead you will see things like Matthew 7 where he says not everyone who says to me "Lord Lord" will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. And he's talking about the ones who don't do Gods will, which is to keep the commandments.
The funniest part is I will get called a heretic for tell you the same things Jesus said. Because that rich man loves that free gift and knows he can't keep them.

Not exactly.
The power is actually in being able to define God for people. They can believe or disbelieve that all they want to and there is no problem because that keeps them from actually finding God.
If I bury my treasure in my back yard, I don't care what side of my front yard you think the treasure is in.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Now if you want to say that when he says I manifest myself to them, that's when I prove that I am the Son of God and their salvation goes through me OK
but you still have to accept Him as your Savior, and that He died and rose again.
You can't just keep the commandments and get to heaven
If that was the case Jews wouldn't be going to hell

Not sure why you're being so argumentive with things that are obviously easy to understand. Satan's job is to turn you away from GOD. That's all he cares about. He doesn't care if you believe in him or not
So yes ... exactly

These fricking idiots will tell you that when they profess allegiance to Satan and even attend the church of Satan that they are not actual Satanists. And I'm not shitting you here. SFP has pulled this shite many times. "They're just edgelords" despite them literally attending the church of Satan.
I don’t think you listened to what the guy actually said. He’s definitely an atheist.
For reference:
quote:
Q: Why do Satanists worship The Devil?
A: We don’t. Satanists are atheists. We see the universe as being indifferent to us, and so all morals and values are subjective human constructions.
