Just voted for Fleming a second time. Regardless, I will be voting for “R” in November.

They made CC the primary issue of their campaign, and they’re done it from the anti-fracker/Rise St James angle of fear mongering, rather than the more sensible angle of arguing that federal tax dollars shouldn’t be propping up that junk.

100%. The messaging should have been to expose that carbon capture and carbon sequestration do nothing to help our energy sector other than make them dependent on the government tit.

This. He is coming off as a desperate clown. So is his base. Radicals that think they’re right on the issues simply because they’re the loudest. A bunch of simple boomers.

He in fact is a registered lobbyist with a major lobbying firm in DC which began in 2021. It's rich hollering that Letlow is engaged to a lobbyist while he is one at the same time as drawing a check from state taxpayers.

He did in fact vote for CCS measures while in Congress. He did in fact talk about his part in mandating masks for Covid. He did in fact vote against help for veterans, of the blue water navy. He claims that it was because it came at the expense of younger sailors but that part didn't happen until he was out of congress.

A now deceased friend was never as happy as when his wife lost her bid to be mayor. She had been on the city council and various boards in the area, all as an elected official.

What pleased him the most was that they could go out to dinner for the first time in years without someone coming to their table to bitch or whine about something.

Over the years, I’ve contacted her office multiple times about issues that matter to me, including the SAVE Act and expanding access to medications. In return, I’ve received little more than a generic message or no response at all.

I used to get the same responses from Higgins office. Went up to him personally one time to ask him questions about a particular bill and he had zero clue about what I was talking about. He's basically a Cajun John Wayne mascot for MAGA. Doesn't really come up with policy of any kind and doesn't really vote all that much except to block the Epstein files.

Letlow rode the coattails of her dead husband and has absolutely no business being in congress. Trump loves hiring and endorsing any moderately attractive woman and Letlow played into that perfectly.

EOR is considered CCS. LSB Industries in El Dorado, AR has a giant Dry Ice plant and contracts with Amazon for the product. It gets carbon credits. It was built several years ago

Well…kind of. Recently thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill, but at least that avenue encourages more domestic oil production via secondary and tertiary operations.

Pure carbon capture and/or sequestration does nothing to encourage domestic production. Federal tax dollars should not be propping that up.

I will have to hold my nose but there are too many issues with Fleming to vote for him.

FTR, voting scorecards are generally from entities which put white papers in front of legislators who don't actually do their homework and just vote how they are told to for ratings.

It’s almost hard to imagine that a person who has never done anything noteworthy in her entire life except be married to someone who died would disappoint you.

She either debates or comes out with ads that specifically indicate what she stands for or I’m changing my vote. Stop with the attack ads I want to know where you stand period.

I agree with that but the scare tactics being used on ignorant AF people from Fleming proxies just pisses me off. We've been putting CO2 into the ground for EOR with CO2 pipelines across the state for at least 40 years but somehow its dangerous now. The CO2 used from the Jackson Dome is not a pure as that from chemical plant and refinery hydrogen reformers. Those two sources are what is used for carbonating soft drinks and making dry ice
