Well yeah. When a nation spends half a trillion dollars on state of the art fighter jets they want their pilots trained too. The dimcrats are simpletons.

Ebbing in Fort Smith is building a new training facility for foreign countries to train on the F35s. (I think this is correct.)

It’s all very scary.

All of the countries in the F-35 program have units at various US bases where they train pilots and maintainers.

bringing Qatar closer to the US is how Trump got them to cut funding to islamist groups like hamas

that initiative is one of many factors that brought the peace deal today

My only concern is appeasing moslim crap while they are here, and ID eventually growing an islamic area.

We are allowing this garbage to poison our nation, so we need to be vigilant.

It’s a building on a US military base. Some people think it’s a bad idea for them to have it and some don’t care. It’s been going on for many years with our allies. Reasonable people can disagree.

Buddy of mine was a pilot in the air force decades ago and they brought in Egyptians to train with them on a base here in the U.S.

I’ve posted about this before, but over 30 years ago here I was stationed at the US Army Armor School at Fort Knox, there were tankers from around the world attending classes there. Europe, Asia, even the Middle East. Training foreign troops in the US has been going a long time.

Saudi national opens fire in classroom on Pensacola Navy base, kills 3, injures 8…

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Saudi aviator in training pulled out a handgun in a classroom at the Naval Air Station Pensacola early Friday and opened fire, killing three and injuring eight before a deputy fatally shot him, authorities said.

The shooter was identified as Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, a member of the Saudi military, according to a Defense official who spoke to USA TODAY on condition of anonymity.

A motive for the attack is unknown. All of the shooting took place in one classroom, where Alshamrani was being trained as part of a Pentagon security cooperation agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, authorities said.

I live about 45 miles from there, and you are correct. It is becoming a training base for foreign F-35 pilots.

From Google's AI search results

quote:

Fort Smith's Ebbing Air National Guard Base is expanding to support a new Foreign Military Pilot Training Center, a project that will increase the number of F-35 and F-16 fighter jets and create new infrastructure like vertical landing pads, ramps, and a fuel farm. This expansion involves training pilots from countries including Poland, Finland, Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland on the F-35 aircraft, with potential impacts on noise levels and local population due to the projected increase in personnel and jets. The expansion is expected to cost over $1 billion and is currently undergoing a supplemental environmental review, with public comments being accepted.
