We can argue opinion all day long. I actually enjoy it, and sometimes I learn something. But posters who will not acknowledge simple, objective fact, even when presented with multiple links to transcripts and the like .... they deserve to be called idiots. I make no apologies for that.

nothing will ever change until we force schools to stop teaching socialism is great and capitalism is bad

the left creates new classes of socialist zombies every year and no one seems to care, that is the real problem

STOP SCHOOLS FROM INDOCTRINATING KIDS TO BE GOOD LITTLE SOCIALIST ZOMBIES AND GO BACK TO ACTUALLY TEACHING IN SCHOOLS

Well, the wonderful thing about the internet is you can always find something legit looking to back a point. It's amazing what people accept as fact just based on raw data or shallow studies.

I've grown super duper skeptical and now just rely on my personal anecdotes and biases

that is just about the end of any nation.
Ive asked this many times. Never got an answer. “What nation has found success in eradicating poverty after eliminating wealthy class”. All I want is a few examples of nations that became more prosperous after confiscating wealth.

Socialism -in this latest “Progressive “ incarnation is a shared mass psychological affliction for those who are impervious to simple economics. There is nothing in those words that will make a single Socialist any less entitled to stealing the time, talents, labor and wealth of another human being. Most wont even understand it.

My concern is that since most of the people who are <40 years old have lived under a fairly "socialistic" US, that is the Government providing more and more support to more people and controlling more of our actions and lives, coupled with the number of people who have, legally or illegally, immigrated to the US who only know socialized government, that the Socialist government proposed by the Democrats seems only natural and logical and impossible to turn down.

See, you say that, but Bernie should have been the nominee if the thing hadn't been rigged.

I'm not saying he would have won, but he would have come closer than the most unlikeable major party candidate since Nixon (maybe ever).

Easily "ever." Sanders' campaign was by far the best showing by a Socialist in a run for President. In the Democratic Primaries he won 23/57 contests, gathered 1,865/4,707 delegates, won more than 13 popular votes and 43. 1 % of votes cast.

The East perhaps.

The answer is zero. Eliminating independent wealth and concentrating wealth at the top of the party apparatus leaves a greater number of people poor.

It's a quote that eloquently describes the goals of the left. Absolutely is true Hank.
