Want someone to blame for Loeffler and Perdue losing?????

Blame yourselves. Loeffler was just another rich chick who was a big donor and got herself appointed Senator and abused that privilege with some questionable trades based on information that was not public.

Perdue is possibly one of the most entitled petitions on the planet..

What I'm saying, is that they did not necessarily inspire passion. Why you stupid Peaches put them on the ballot says more about you than anything else

In terms of Raffensberger inking a deal with Dominion. His office was allowed to make that deal. Raffensburger is pretty clean on all of this. Why the local officials in Cobb, Fulton and DeKalb have not been the subject of the same ire is beyond my comprehension. They are much more responsible than the SOS could possibly be.

$4-$5 a gallon gas, baby formula shortages, warnings of upcoming food shortages. I'd say its starting to interfere with daily lives.

Get over it.

They remained silent.

The GOP leadership remained silent.

Its truly sad that you have buried your head so far that you don't follow what actually happened.

Who mentioned Dominion. You. I stated his deal with Stacey Abrams.

They did it through a lawsuit settlement with Raffensperger. He settled it out of court. In that he gave them the following:

- email absentee ballot applications
- save” rejected ballots through volunteer “Ballot rescue phone callers.”
- added drop boxes
- reduce signature verification.

All done outside of the state legislature.

This is all very easy to verify if you actually wanted to know.

He is the one that gave the damn deal!

Here is Newt BEFORE the 2020 runoff election:

Newt Gingrich
@newtgingrich
Why is Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger working so hard to add drop boxes and take other steps to make it harder for Republicans to win. Is he really that intimidated by Stacey Abrams?

Also, DeSantis made drop boxes legal here in Florida

Why do you people lie with such ease?

DeSantis signs a sweeping GOP-backed election bill into law in Florida, tightening restrictions on mail voting and ballot drop boxes

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida on Thursday signed into law a major Republican-backed voting and election-administration bill that requires voters to apply for mail ballots more frequently and tightens rules on ballot drop boxes.

This time, due to the GBI doxing the method of investigation (at the request of KEMP) they will know not to use or keep a phone on them.

Sounds like Ga needs a platoon of volunteers to observe drop boxes and follow people submitting multiple ballots.

Then what’s the fricking POINT of election laws if they aren’t enforced and there’s no punishment for breaking them? What a facade.

That's not why Republicans lost in Georgia and you damn well know it. You may fault Raffensburger on that deal, but he was working off advice of counsel on that. Was it the best move....no. But that is not why both Loeffler and Perdue lost.

They lost because they were suck arse candidates who did not gin up their base and marginal Republican voters. Plus you had a lot of attention on those races after the Presidential. All of you assholes and even Trump were running around for weeks saying, " Oh don't vote in these elections because Georgia shafted me (Trump)" You guys should have seen this coming. Ossoff almost wins in 2017 in Newts old district.

Republicans have become bad with overall election strategy. It is no longer the message, it's about effecting a big turnout. I hate early voting and the abuse of absentee. But it's the Republicans who effectively used absentee first especially in 2000 and 2004. Democrats took it and turned it into a huge advantage and found ways to abuse it with ballot harvesters and drop boxes....no other nation in the world has the type of election exceptions we have. There is election day.....you get up off your arse and vote.

I’m not sure what you mean by “you people” ….I’m assuming you mean “ people who know Florida election law”

DeSantis loves the drop box so much, his office changed a bill that originally eliminated drop box back in 2021 and then pushed to change the name in Florida Statutes

quote:

The bill also changes the name of drop boxes to “secure ballot intake stations,” which would allow Republicans to suggest they got rid of them — a position pushed by Trump. But drop boxes would still be allowed as long as they are supervised.
