The accusations of "where are the Catholics in this thread?" are met with Catholics in the thread, but then clear lies and accusations from the protestants. It gets old.

The church didn't cover up anything . Evil men hiding within the church did. That's like saying Americans are pro-sexual abuse because of Swallwell, or that public education should be condemned because a few young teachers couldn't keep their hands off some of the boys.

There are over 1 billion Catholics in the world. I have no doubt that some of them are evil men and women who in no way are truly Catholic. Pervasive? No. Evil? Yes.

Correct - it was not from Trent according to Chat it was from the CCC.
Paragraph 2357 states:
“Tradition has always declared that **‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’ … Under no circumstances can they be approved.”
So my point stands. Disordered men are not allowed in the priesthood and yet the church does nothing to expel them in fact it is well documented that Cardinal McCarik, Cupich et al protect them. Tthey are userpers who have infiltrated the upper crust of the church.
Leo elevates such as these to powerful positions and then makes a fool of himself by saying demonstrably false things about God himself.
Victims of abuse were shunned by the USCCB.
I am a firm orthodox Catholic and I believe the church should take the advice of Saint Paul “purge the evil one from your midst”
Another piece of scripture that the pope and bishops ignore.
In fact, they do the opposite. They have purged the orthodox tradition men and kept the disorderd heretical ones.

No it doesn't. Your point was rooted in your own falsehoods. And you still fail to see what the church is teaching. Homosexual ACTS are gravely disordered. A chaste person with same sex attraction is not living in mortal sin. The ACT is the issue.

I'm Catholic because of the Theology of the Church, not because of politics or because of what some criminals do, even if they are clergy. The Catholic Church has been working to overcome the criminals in their ranks. The Official Theology is that these perverts are criminals and should be dealt with under the law. There are positive developments and work being done to correct the failures of the past. The Church is working to rid itself of these perverts and criminals.
