And I'm with you in feeling that way now. I'm a soccer fan, but they finally lost me with the equal pay fight.
Liberals who don't even follow the sport bought their bullshite, but the rest of us knew the team had collectively bargained for guaranteed salaries and benefits, which were actually worth more than what the men got.
US Soccer gave them everything they asked for, and the players still sued them after the World Cup. When the lawsuit was thrown out, Rapinoe and others doubled down on the woke shite.
They're unprincipled frauds, and I can't support the women's team again until the toxic attitudes are gone.

Yeah, I understand that. I guess I was confused because I thought the issue was those who turned their back to the veteran. But those players, for the most part, all have their right hand on their hearts.

But some do not and that is the issue here - I understand as well I don't see turning backs but facing a different way is still disrespect personified - especially to a veteran of the Greatest Generation that would be the equivalent of their great or great-great grandfather. No way anyone can make an excuse for the lack of respect by some team members. Hat's off to those that did however. My advice to them would be to question who you wish to play with on your team and keep you values.

My thoughts are, if representing the U.S. is so upsetting to them, then tell them they are not worthy to represent our country and to go pound sand with their haughty attitude.

Wasn’t the flag on the opposite end of the stadium from vet performing which is why they are turned that way? So we’re they supposed to look at him or the flag?

Damn shame that question was asked. And again, hand to the heart unless military when looking at the Flag is the normal procedure. But I suppose you and many others are now just discovering this? Or in your case being a lib troll? Guessing the latter.

There are people screaming that the players with with their backs turned are disrespecting the Vet because they aren’t looking at him.
I am sure you jump all over every athlete that stand with their hands behind their back during the anthem while looking at the flag.
