All legal citizens also pay taxes, and even more so than illegals do. And we could take a lot more legal immigrants who would work more jobs paying more taxes if there weren't so many illegals working for low wages (which a vast majority of the wages they get getting shipped out of country anyway)
Are the illegal immigrants taxes a net gain or drain? That's all that matters
