This presumes that holding pointless impeachment show-trials is “doing” something. It isn’t.
Wrong.
You still don’t get it.
Democrats had no chance of removing Trump. They didn’t even have impeachable offenses. And they did it twice. The tactic is to highlight an attack, bloody the target, obfuscate the opponent’s effectiveness and operation, harass, incapacitate the individual if not the operation, and generally create a climate of open targeted hostility. Resist, at any cost, in any manner, in every capacity, in relentless fashion.
You’re playing by rules that are no longer applicable.
It’s one of the main reasons you’re going to lose, not just now but in the coming years.

If the GOP were able to impeach him, it would shine alot of light on who is and why he is being impeached. Most people still think the border situation is some sort of issue of mismanagement and incompetence, they have no idea their government is acting intently to overthrow the native population out of political power forever.
Fantasy. The Senate would kill it in a quick trial, and the only thing the media would talk about the entire time is how Republicans are fringe lunatics for doing it.
If the whole purpose is to try and use it as some sort of campaign tool or way to drive a media narrative on the border, it isn’t going to work. At all.
The “independents” that such a strategy ostensibly would target get their news from …….. wait for it…….the main stream news media.

The biggest reason you are wrong is that apparently you don’t see that Republicans and Democrats cannot play by the same rules. The GOP loses and will continue to lose tit-for-tat politics every single damn time.
None of that shite works for Republicans, and will not work for Republicans, because the Democrats control 99.9% of the media in this country. Like it or not, what a handful of editors decide will be the news is what the news will be.
It’s why picking unwinnable fights and political theater will not work for the GOP. It can for the Democrats.

Both my mother and mother in law are those old school Reagan republicans who thinks folks with an R by their names qualifies them over everything, no matter how they vote. They both absolutely hate Matt Gaetz for what he did to McCarthy. Both have soured on Trump because that’s the establishment path.
When republicans do shite like this, it baffles them but never seems to dissuade them.
It’s quite a sight to see.
Btw they are both Desantis supporters so it all kind of makes sense I guess.

Don't take this personally, but I try to avoid people like you in my personal and business life...constantly negative and defeatist. (always coming up with reasons why x,y, and z cannot be done and don't even try)
And that is assuming your motives are legit, and you aren't just trying to poison the well, and you actually are a conservative/Republican but just see this differently.
While I can't disagree that the Democrats are at an advantage because of their media lapdogs and personal publicists that will create a favorable narrative for them and unfavorable for our side... that doesn't mean you shouldn't get in the game and get a little dirty.
I think it was Joh. Wooden who would say "chance favors the aggressor"... this is how the Republicans should be acting. When we aren't willing to go after their guys (for actual legit reasons), then we should not whine when they go after our guys (for completely ridiculous reasons). They feel emboldened and for good reason.

Indefatigable is of the Bobby Knight school of political thought: if rape is inevitable, might as well lay back and enjoy it.

I saw one of them on CNN for a minute. I think it was Turner. He was sort of principled and said everyone is abusing this process and it should almost never be used
If there ever was someone needing impeaching, it Mayorkas! Wonder wtf Turner thinks would warrant an impeachment?
