I'm actually surprised this is news to so many non-Black people. I thought it was common knowledge. You can't have an event that is catered to Black people without healthcare professionals there promoting health awareness, good dietary habits, testing for various health conditions, etc.
And, I will be honest. The health issues are so grave in the Black American community revolving around heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure, etc. I don't believe the coronavirus is killing these people. The health issues I have mentioned kill so many Black people on a daily basis.

If one lacks basic understanding of health and diet, how is it anyone’s fault but the self? Those dying need to look inward at the toxic habits providing harbor to COVID-19. If none such habits exist, it is nothing more than a cruel fate

Certain demographics refuse to consider conforming to "The Man" and are going about their way of life with gusto. Many are in high anticipation of getting high on that government check that they or their associate receive.
Soon we will be seeing a detailed analysis of the Covid-19 deaths and then they will be screaming about the virus being racist and the government didn't do enough to protect them and be demanding "reparations".

We have a toxic culture in Black America. Educated Blacks are incentivized by White liberals to not correct uneducated Blacks. So, the cycle amongst largely uneducated Blacks continues unabated. And, then White liberals can claim racism is the problem and they have the solution.
