Personally, I am fine with a doc writing Ivermectin if they want. I don’t think the data is settled one way or the other about it.

I’m pretty convinced it doesn’t work, but I don’t care if someone writes for it. Just don’t want people to use that as a surrogate for things we know work.

I agree. I don’t think it’s the panacea that’s being pretended here. If it was, 85% of doctors would be throwing up a middle finger to the FDA and writing it like it was Crest-toothpaste.

But I have had conversations with a PA and an NP in the past few weeks where both of them told me that ivermectin “could kill you.” Anyone who has unwavering faith in our healthcare personnel just needs more exposure to them.

No doubt. I do have a problem with a doc not setting someone up for monoclonal antibodies if they qualify.

That’s a whole different conversation. And everyone doesn’t realize where we are headed in that regard.

I’m in Georgia. But try a telehealth service.

I originally got one from a telehealth, then asked my doctor for another month supply. Wrote it for me no problem.

What the state health officer should be saying is "we are freeing up enough Ivermectin in the supply chain to allow patients of any doctor who wants to prescribe it, access to it."

There! Problem solved.

I never pay any attention to the Free Press. I haven't taken any but I think I could figure out the proper dose since it's weight based. And no, I am not a horse. I just like having all the possible tools in my toolbox.

Did they say it didn't work or were there just side effects?

BTW - I was vaccinated in Jan/Feb.

It’s 2021, it’s easy to order medicine from an online pharmacy. There is no reason to buy from tractor supply unless you waited until you are actually sick.

Anyone who watches prescribing habits of doctors knows this is all a farce. I had doctors writing Abilify for sleep when I was selling Ambien. The FDA didn’t give a shite. No one ran to the media saying “doctors shouldn’t be doing this!” Doctors using Botox for migraines years before it had FDA approval.

But somehow with ivermectin and HCQ, the world will fall apart if a doc writes off label.

No one does this. Abilify is taken in the am because it keeps you awake. Also, have had many on vent and died that were taking ivermectin and unvaccinated. In fact, intubated one yesterday that was taking Ivermectin. Sorry but doesn't work. mab helps if used early but once you get pneumonia, which is ARDS, no med really helps.
