I guess she did not learn Math in high school. Then menu prices are on the menu board and you can find them online. Yes, five guys cost more than McDonald’s or Wendy’s.

You are paying for a better product which is a nicer hamburger than McDonald’s. Unfortunately, you will pay more.

Five guys prices vs going to a sit down burger restaurant is almost tit for tat. She chose convenience over sitting down enjoying a meal at a restaurant.

Once again, liberals show how completely illiterate and brain dead they are when it comes to economic and finance. They were 100% warned this would happen but they're twisted leftist loon ideology causes them to ignore if it doesn't support their agenda to "feel" better about themselves

Hell in Georgia where minimum wage is 7.25, Five Guys prices are this bad.

Nice sit down burger joints around here (MugShots and Bulldog Burger come to mind) are really good burgers and you are going to pay for the "gourmet" plus the wait staff. We had a place that was a step above the typical McDonalds, Burger King, etc., called Backyard Burger. They were franchised but not sure how widespread they were. I rarely eat at any of those but I would guess Backyard was probably 25-30% higher than the low levels. Something went wrong. Either they priced themselves out of business or the service fell off so. Some say management screwed it up. But they had the best "fast food" burger around but just didn't make it. Their waffle fries were great! So people will pay more for quality but once quality drops off you are in trouble if you can't make it competitive.

...yeah, she should've saw the price before ordering. If it's too expensive, don't order it.

It's like Jersey Mikes here, it's over $40 for 2 giant subs. I don't eat at Jersey Mike's.

So you don't think labor costs factor into what a product costs?

The taste of 5 guys hamburgers are much better than the fast food restaurants like Burger King and McDonalds. I know when I eat at 5 guys what the quality of the food will be and the price before I order. Not sure why this woman and her husband didn’t look at the price before ordering. No one forces a customer to eat at 5 guys, so stop complaining and go elsewhere. It’s like when you are in first class in a plane, you are paying a lot more than the passenger that fly in coach.

Same. Went pick up burgers for my wife and I. Got home and told her the price with that we have never been back. The burgers are good but in the end the price isn’t worth paying for a burger.

No, all liberals think magically raising hour wage has zero effect on over head cost. They think companies should just eat the cost, they don't have to answer to share holders and they aren't there to make a profit
